b'Employee Engagement, Feedback & TrainingEmployee engagement is key to VIAs success and instrumental to VIAs culture. Employee engagement is driven through two internal committees. Our Champions Group Committee coordinates employee appreciation, team building and social events. The Engagement Committee organizes developmental training and courses targeting specific hard or soft skills and/or industry-specific courses. The Engagement Committee also manages aninternal program which allows VIA leaders to frequently recognize employees for their positive attitudes, behaviors, and exceptional performance that lead to organizationalimprovements and/or positive financial outcomes. Through these two committees,employees are encouraged to step away from their day to day tasks and sharpen a skillor engage and build relationships with colleagues.
